Nicki Minaj Continues Shots At Megan Thee Stallion

Nicki Minaj has more vitriol for Megan Thee Stallion amid their back and forth following the release of the latter’s new song, “Hiss.”

Meg released her new single on Friday (January 26). The track contains some thinly-veiled shots at Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, as it references the federal law requiring authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders.

These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start,” the Houston native raps.

After her initial reply which included previewing a diss of her own, Minaj took to Twitter/X with more…a lot more. After running off the successful stats from Pink Friday 2 and its forthcoming accompanying tour, she then came for Meg’s sales.

“#GagCity does not condone ‘bullying,’” she began. “this a long ass tweet so idc if you ‘ain’t reading all dat.’ […] if your last 5-10 releases flopped… If The internet checks don’t clear outside in real life. If all the paid blogs & paid tweets = flop after flop after FLOP album…

“Did y’all run up that ‘Barbie World’ song they tried? It’s bubbling under this week. Video & all and didn’t crack the HOT 100. It’s a BUB. They losing so much money with BF…ain’t generate not one penny of a profit yet & claim she went to college but can’t read her contract …? Another manipulation so she can kick ppl to the curb after they helped her.

“Did y’all run up her color purple song? Nope. Huge vmas performance [big video] = flop. Every album she’s ever released= flopped. Paid media all the time. Fraudulent awards = flopped. Horrible ACTOR that can’t cry on cue. don’t try to act bookie it’s a chop. Pathological & manipulative liar.

“Using ghost writers & still SUCK. So it’s not me, y’all. I would never. I’m a classy lil rich lady. Immigrant to a BOSS. the American Dream… Its…well it’s just that… *whispers* y’all, it’s just that #Roman seems to be in one of those “moods” now.”

Nicki Minaj’s initial response to Megan Thee Stallion was made via Instagram Live, where she played a snippet of a new song containing some choice words aimed at Tina Snow.

Referencing the July 2020 shooting that wounded Megan’s feet — and for which Tory Lanez was imprisoned — she raps: “Bad bitch she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot.”

Nicki could be heard laughing while playing the snippet, which she ran back multiple times.

She also said during the broadcast: “You have three Grammys and you have to learn how to rap on the beat and be comfortable in the music,” before doing an impression of Megan rapping in a thick Southern drawl.

Further mocking her rival’s shooting injuries, Nicki posted a photo of her freshly pedicured feet on Twitter/X.

Meg then appeared to respond on her Instagram Stories by posting a photo of herself laughing.

Tension between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion has been simmering for years. In September 2022, Nicki claimed that an unnamed person told her to get an abortion, alluding to that person being Megan.

When a fan told Megan she was being accused of “encouraging abortion and child endangerment with alcohol,” the Traumazine rapper replied: “LIE.”
