Indigo Disk new Pokemon base stats, typing, and Abilities revealed

Pokemon Scarlet Indigo Disk new Pokemon base stats, typing, Abilities

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s new Indigo Disk DLC introduces a handful of new creatures, and we’ve gathered their base stats, Abilities, and competitive info right here. If you’re looking to discover these unrevealed Pokemon for yourself, we’d recommend bookmarking this page and coming back later to avoid spoilers. We won’t be including any images here, either – just raw base stats and competitive info for those of you wondering how strong these Pokemon will be in battle. If you’re good with spoilers, then let’s get started.

Indigo Disk new Pokemon stats

The Indigo Disk new Pokemon

As mentioned before, The Indigo Disk only introduces a handful of new Pokemon – and many of these are paradox forms or Legendary Pokemon. We’ve compiled a list of all their base stats, which were datamined by SciresM over on social media in the first place. Here’s a full list of the Indigo Disk new Pokemon and their stats and Abilities!

  • Archaludon is Duraludon’s new evolution, and it’s a Steel/Dragon-type Pokemon that can have Stamina, Sturdy or Stalwart as one of its potential Abilities. Its base stats are 90 HP, 105 Attack, 130 Defense, 125 Sp. Attack, 65 Sp. Defense, and 85 Speed.
  • Hydrapple is Dipplin’s new evolution, and it’s a Grass/Dragon-type Pokemon that can have Supersweet Syrup, Regenerator, or Sticky Hold as Abilities. It’s got 106 base HP, 80 base Attack, 110 base Defense, 120 Sp. Attack, 80 Sp. Defense, and 44 Speed.
  • Gouging Fire is a Fire/Dragon-type Paradox Pokemon with the Protosynthesis Ability. Its base stats are 105 HP, 115 Attack, 121 Defense, 65 Sp. Attack, 93 Sp. Defense, and 91 Speed.
  • Raging Bolt is an Electric/Dragon-type Paradox Pokemon with the Protosynthesis Ability. Its base stats are 125 HP, 73 Attack, 91 Defense, 137 Sp. Attack, 89 Sp. Defense, and 75 Speed.
  • Iron Boulder is a Rock/Psychic-type Paradox Pokemon with the Quark Drive Ability. It’s a fast physical attacker — 90 HP, 120 Attack, 80 Defense, 68 Sp. Attack, 108 Sp. Defense, and 124 Speed.
  • Iron Crown is a Steel/Psychic-type Paradox Pokemon with the Quark Drive Ability. It’s a physically defensive special attacker with decent Speed to boot. It has 90 HP, 72 Attack, 100 Defense, 122 Sp. Attack, 108 Sp. Defense, and 98 Speed.
  • Terapagos (Normal Form) is a Normal-type legendary Pokemon with the new Tera Shift Ability, which transforms it into its Terastal form when sent into battle. This means that you generally cannot use Terapagos’ Normal form in battle. Its base stats are 90 HP, 65 Attack, 85 Defense, 65 Sp. Attack, 85 Sp. Defense, and 60 Speed.
  • Terapagos (Terastal Form) is a Normal-type legendary Pokemon with the new Tera Shell Ability. At full health, all incoming attacks will only deal half damage. Its base stats are 95 HP, 95 Attack, 110 Defense, 105 Sp. Attack, 110 Sp. Defense, and 85 Speed. Remember that Terapagos does change into the new Stellar type when Terastalized.
  • Terapagos (Stellar Form) is a Normal-type legendary Pokemon with the new Teraform Zero Ability. When this Ability is active, the effects of weather and terrain will disappear. Its stats are just crazy! It has 160 HP, 105 Attack, 110 Defense, 130 Sp. Attack, 110 Sp. Defense, 85 Speed.
  • Pecharunt is a Poison/Ghost-type legendary Pokemon with the new Poison Puppeteer Ability. When Pecharunt poisons an opponent, that opponent will also become confused. For its base stats, it has 88 in everything except for Defense, which is 160 — so it’s quite physically defensive.

That’s all of them, then! There aren’t a ton of new Pokemon introduced in the Indigo Disk, but the ones that are here are neat – we’re big fans of the new Dipplin evolution in particular.

We’re planning on publishing many more guides for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s new DLC. If you want to stay up to date with them, bookmark our Indigo Disk guides list and check back every so often for new content. In the meantime, how do you think each of these new Pokemon will perform in competitive play? Which do you think are strong, and which do you think look underwhelming?
