Asghari starred as Spears’ love interest in her 2016 “Slumber Party” music video, which was filmed at a Beverly Hills mansion.

The duo hit it off immediately and exchanged numbers during the shoot, and Spears ended up finding the personal trainer’s number in her bag. “I was like, ‘He is really cute. This guy is really cute,” the pop princess said during a 2017 radio interview. “So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person.”

The happy new couple rang in 2017 together, and Spears made their relationship Instagram official on January 1, 2017, with an adorable photo of the two enjoying a meal together. “Happy New Year,” she captioned the smiley snap.

The duo looked picture perfect as they made their red carpet debut at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere. “@onceinhollywood with the lioness,” Asghari captioned a photo of them together.

“I can’t f—ing believe it!!!!!!” Spears captioned a happy video announcing the news, using several ring emojis in her caption. In the clip, Spears is seen waving her hand in front of the camera with a slight grin before kissing a smiling Asghari on the cheek.

Meanwhile, Asghari shared another look at the ring on his own Instagram account, where he tagged Spears and left a simple prince-and-princess emoji caption.

Asghari congratulated his superstar fiancée after a judge terminated her 13-year conservatorship during a court hearing. “History was made today. Britney is Free!” he captioned a photo of the word “freedom” against a pink backdrop.

The pop star shared on Instagram that she and Asghari are expecting their first child together. “I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back,” she explained alongside a photo of pink flowers and a cup of coffee. “I thought ‘Geez … what happened to my stomach ???’ My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant silly !!!’”

Spears revealed that she went on to take a pregnancy test and “uhhhhh well … I am having a baby  … 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant [pregnancy emoji] It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it.”

Asghari shared a watercolor painting of a female and male lion cuddling their baby cub. “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect,” he captioned the post. “Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do.”

“I call you Lioness because I admire your relentless strength, I’m inspired by your beautiful heart, I celebrate your smile that lights up my world,” Asghari captioned a heart-melting Instagram post celebrating Spears’ birthday. “Everyday is your birthday my queen Happy 1st birthday to my wife.”

“It is with out deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” a joint statement shared to both of their Instagram profiles read. “This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”

Spears and Asghari officially tied the knot on June 9, with an exclusive and small guest list of about 100 people, as reported by TMZ.

The couple separated after one year of marriage, according to People.
