All 54 Movies & TV Shows Leaving Max This Month

Summary

  • Max is losing some of its offerings in February, including the comedy series Tacoma FD and the action movie Edge of Tomorrow.
  • Ben 10, a children’s animated action show, will be losing its fourth season on Max on February 17.
  • On February 29, over 40 titles will be removed from Max, including DC animated movies and films from notable directors like Ridley Scott and Oliver Stone.

The streaming service Max offers a vast content library of TV shows and movies, as well as original programming, and in January, like every month, the service is losing some of its offerings. Max includes content from several brands, such as HBO, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, DC, and Max Originals. After the April 2022 merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc., the streaming service was relaunched as Max on May 23, 2023.

Every month, Max brings on new movies and TV shows to add to its content library, and every month, some are taken away. In February 2024, movies and TV shows are disappearing from Max throughout the month, with most leaving on the final day. Often, Max removes movies in a franchise or series at the same time, but there are also plenty of standalone movies that will disappear soon as well. The clock is ticking on certain TV and movie titles and those interested should sign on in order not to miss anything.

February 6

A Time Loop Sci-Fi Movie Starring Tom Cruise And Emily Blunt

  • Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
  • We Bare Bears: The Movie (2020)

Two movies will be leaving Mac on February 6 with a big sci-fi blockbuster and a charming children’s movie. Edge of Tomorrow is a wildly entertaining action movie take on the time loop genre with Tom Cruise playing against type as a cowardly military man thrust into the front lines of a war against an invading alien enemy. After immediately dying on the battlefield, he wakes up and finds he is stuck in a time loop, repeating that day in battle again and again.

Emily Blunt stars alongside Cruise as a skilled warrior who realizes that his ability to return to the same fight with new knowledge could be the key to defeating the aliens. While many still hold out hope that Edge of Tomorrow 2 is happening, Max fans only have a limited time left to watch the original. • The Many Lives of Nick Buoniconti (2019) (HBO Original)

February 7 will see the departure of a sports documentary on Max. The movie is the chronicle of the incredible journey of Nick Buoiconti, an NFL Hall of Famer who began his career in the league as a linebacker and went on to build a life in many other fields. It could be an interesting and lesser-known story of the football world with some intriguing revelations.

February 10

A Dwayne Johnson And Kevin Hart Action-Comedy

  • Central Intelligence (2016)

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart have proved to be a great on-screen team with a number of memorable team-ups over the years, but their first collaboration is being removed from Max on February 10. Central Intelligence is an action comedy that stars Hart as the former star of his high school who is now in a rut. He then has a chance reunion with a former picked-on classmate (Johnson) who has turned his life around and is now a superspy for the CIA.

The chemistry between the two stars elevates the movie and provides big laughs alongside some decent action moments. It is especially fun seeing Johnson in a more goofy role than usual as a kind-hearted action hero who still holds a lot of insecurities from his times being bullied in school.

February 29 will see over 40 titles being removed with several of them being DC animated movies. While the DC movies had a tough year at the box office in 2023, DC’s animated offerings are a reminder of some of the great stories being told in this superhero universe with titles like Superman: Doomsday, Green Lantern: First Flight, and the excellent Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero.
